I first discovered Vajrasati Yoga in 2013 on a 10-day retreat with Jim in India. The immersion in meditation, mantra, pranayama and asana practice, taught in a light-hearted way within the context of yoga philosophy, was a turning point in my life and my yoga practice. With the invitation to “let go” and to investigate poses fully by listening and responding I found a new enjoyment and absorption in yoga, a deeper connection, and felt myself open physically, spiritually and emotionally, breathing fully and allowing myself to be in the now.

Since then, I have prioritised my yoga practice and learning, incorporating it into daily life. Based in London, I travel to Brighton regularly to attend Vajrasati workshops and classes and returned to India with Jim in 2015, starting the Vajrasati Teacher Training Course in the same year.

I teach honestly and with kindness and am keen to make yoga feel accessible to all. Increased physical flexibility and strength that comes with regular asana practice is such a small aspect of the overall benefits that yoga can bring. Vajrasati yoga points to the heart and our true nature. It's this unmovable place of inner knowing, harmony and strength that we can connect to on and off the mat to help us to enjoy life’s rich journey that I really want to help others to discover.
