Pop ups by their very nature are spontaneous and unexpected. On this occasion, Landa and her team are looking to give you a chance to escape to a scenic farm – tucked away in nature - where you will be able to rest and restore through the magic of yoga. At the same time, we will be giving you a taste of Latin America through a thoughtfully crafted menu focusing on healthy flavours from Colombia. There will even bean opportunity to experiment with the art of collaging for those wishing to get creative.
Set amongst woods and rolling fields, the farm offers a variety of accommodation options. Whether you choose to stay in the woodland yurt, the shepherd’s hut or one of the three cottages, you are guaranteed a peaceful stay infused by nature and tranquility.Walks vary in length and scenery. You can easily find yourself walking through the woods, picking berries and enjoying the local wildlife which ranges from deer and horses to sheep, cows, hares and much more. There are many great spots for birdwatching (lots of beautiful species in the area); and you can easily get lost in the vineyard which offers some lovely walks and is particularly inviting in the summer months. For further information on what to do in the area please visit this link. There will be an opportunity to take part in a guided tour of the farm with George who will share insights about what is growing and the systems that are used to produce food that is good for soil, wildlife and gut health. The farm’s freshly produced oat milk, Toats Mylk, will be on offer during the retreat.
Classes are suitable for all levels and aim to integrate the newest student whilst providing a fresh perspective for the very experienced practitioner. This makes for a very accessible and inclusive practice. The teaching style is calming and focused on guiding students to become attuned to the subtle workings of their body, brain and breath. You can expect a class to be based around thepractice of āsana (posture) but we will also cover prānāyama (breathwork) and dhyāna (meditation).Instructions are guided towards an experience rather than a goal. We use props (blocks, blankets, belts) to adapt āsanas, making them safe and accessible while aiding release.During the retreat you will take advantage of six yoga classes, three meditation sessions and one nidra practice. More about my background in the bio at the end.
Esnayder Cuartas is a London-based food and drinks entrepreneur who has been passionate about importing his Colombian roots to the UK hospitality scene for over 20 years. He was the proprietor of Sabor, the leading Latin American restaurant in Islington between 2004 and 2012, bringing modern and imaginative cuisine to North London. My first collaboration with Esnayder Cuartas dates back to 2008 when he curated the food for Colombiage, a contemporary Colombian arts festival I founded in London in 2007. The collaboration was a hit and we’ve been working together on a variety of projects ever since. I am super excited to be working with him again to bring you a nutritious menu that fuses traditional Colombian classics with modern European cuisine. Allergies, intolerances and other dietary requirements will be catered for. There will be a selection of teas, coffees and freshly pressed juices available throughout the weekend; as well as fresh fruit, nuts and home-made treats for those with a sweet tooth. One can’t be good all the time! Alcohol will not be included in the retreat but you are welcome to bring your own to have a drink with dinner.

If you are planning to drive from London, the journey usually takes 1 hour and 20 mins depending on time of travel. Car shares are always a good option. If you choose to take the train, the nearest station is Petersfield and there are regular trains leaving from Waterloo on a daily basis. Journey time is usually just over 1 hour. A taxi ride from Petersfield to Hambledon takes about 15 mins and will cost around £20.
