Jo completed her teacher training in 2009 and is now a Senior Teacher in the school. She began practicing yoga over 25 years ago and has been a member of the Vajrasati community (either attending classes or teaching them) for nearly 15 years.
In addition to general drop in classes, Jo runs ‘supported yoga’ classes for people with injuries and on-going conditions – using props to support students to come in and out of poses.
“Yoga has always anchored me through the ups and downs of life. It’s a wonderful thing to be able to observe my students experiencing the benefits of yoga too. I love making connections with others and I feel as though I’m constantly learning and evolving through my teaching. I feel very lucky to be able to teach yoga for a living – it’s the best job in the world!”
