Kate has been practising yoga since 1996 and attended her first Vajrasati class in 2008. She loved the clearness and depth of the teaching and the balance of emphasis on physical postures and the spiritual teachings behind yoga.
Kate found yoga invaluable through two pregnancies and now practises with her children. She has worked as an editor on children's magazines and volunteered in schools in India and Brighton. These experiences have inspired her fun, creative yoga classes for children.
Taking the Vajrasati Teacher Training Course has deepened Kate's practise. She has been astonished at the transformative power of yoga, helping her to develop physically and mentally and find a place of stillness within herself, becoming more present and mindful in daily life. She hopes to share this with her students, both children and adults.
