Supta Bālāsana - Supine Child Pose

(Lying-down hare pose)

  • Lay on your back gently embracing your legs towards your chest, with one hand holding the opposite wrist or with fingers interlinked in front of your shins.

  • Move the legs in towards your chest with any waves of natural release that can be felt.

DURATION: Stay for as long as natural release is felt.
FOCUS: Let the breath enter the spine, hips and groins so the old shape of the body in those areas can be felt with the light ‘summer breeze’ awareness.
